Halloween nails for 2026
Halloween is my favourite holiday, so of course I had to put together some nail inspiration! 🎃👻
I’ve always loved Halloween nails design. Tiny ghosts, little pumpkins, mummies with eyes peeking through the bandages – those playful details make a manicure so much more fun. And sometimes I just want long, blood-red nails with a few splashes for a little drama!
I’ve gathered a mix of simple designs, bright neons and spooky accents for anyone planning their next nail appointment, and for nail artists looking for ideas to try on their clients. There’s a bit of everything, whether you love short nails or a long stiletto.
Milky Pink Ghost Nails
These little white ghosts make Halloween nails feel sweet and playful. The sheer milky pink base keeps the manicure soft, while two tiny ghost accents add just enough spooky detail. Short oval nails suit this design beautifully, giving it a neat, wearable finish.
I’d pair these with an oversized cream jumper, light denim and ankle boots. They would also look lovely with a simple black dress if you want a Halloween detail without planning an entire costume around it.
Black French Tips with a Spiderweb
A black French tip gives a familiar manicure a darker mood. The nude base and almond shape keep the look elegant, while a fine white spiderweb on one nail brings in the Halloween theme. Leaving the other nails free of decoration makes that delicate detail stand out.
This is the set I’d choose with a black blazer, leather trousers or a satin dress. Add silver jewellery and you have a subtle gothic look that works just as well for dinner as it does for a Halloween party.
Orange Nails with a Pumpkin Accent
Warm pumpkin orange is an easy way to bring Halloween into a manicure. Most of the nails are painted in one glossy colour, with a tiny pumpkin on a beige accent nail. The short, softly squared shape makes the whole set feel cheerful and practical.
These nails would fit right in with autumn outfits: a chunky brown cardigan, cream knitwear or a denim jacket. I like that the design can stay on after Halloween, too. A little pumpkin still feels perfectly at home throughout autumn.
Nude Nails with Tiny Black Bats
A translucent pink base gives these tiny black bats plenty of room to stand out. With the artwork limited to two nails, the manicure stays light and uncluttered. The oval shape adds to that soft finish, even with little creatures flying across the nails.
I’d wear this set with a grey jumper and black jeans, or a simple outfit with a leather jacket. It’s a lovely option if you usually choose nude manicures and want to try something seasonal without making a big colour change.
Burgundy Nails with Eyes in the Dark
Deep burgundy brings a rich autumn colour to this short square manicure. The surprise is on the black accent nail, where two pairs of tiny white eyes seem to peek out from the darkness. It’s a small detail, but it gives an otherwise classic set a mischievous little personality.
Burgundy knitwear, a black velvet top or a charcoal coat would all suit these nails. Personally, I’d keep the outfit fairly simple and let someone notice the eyes halfway through a conversation.
Neon Green Frankenstein Nails
Bright green polish and a tiny Frankenstein face make this one of the most playful sets in the collection. A black stitched line on another nail ties the design together without covering every finger in artwork. The short square shape gives the little face a clear, simple outline.
I’d pair these with an all-black outfit so the green really stands out. A black T-shirt, chunky boots and a leather jacket would be enough. You could also pick up the colour in a small accessory, such as earrings or a bag.
Electric Blue Mummy Nails
The vivid blue base gives this mummy manicure a colourful twist. White bandages cross the accent nail, leaving a small dark gap where two yellow eyes peek through. The rounded oval shape softens the look and gives the bandage design enough space to be clearly seen.
These would look great with black denim, a white shirt or a silver party top. I especially like the idea of a monochrome outfit with this bright flash of blue on the nails. The little mummy does all the Halloween work for you.
Neon Yellow French Tips with Monster Eyes
Neon yellow tips turn a nude French manicure into something a little more unexpected. Tiny eyes on two of the nails add a funny monster detail, while the long almond shape keeps the silhouette elegant. There’s plenty of bare-looking pink space, so the bright colour doesn’t overwhelm the design.
I’d wear these with a black mini dress or a relaxed grey outfit. They would also suit a sporty look with trainers and an oversized jacket. The eyes are the sort of detail that makes you smile every time you look down.
Neon Slime Stiletto Nails
Long stiletto nails give this dripping slime design its dramatic shape. Neon green trails across a milky nude base, while an electric blue accent nail adds a splash of contrast with a yellow drip. The glossy finish makes the colours look almost wet.
For an outfit, I’d go with black mesh, a simple fitted top or a leather-look skirt. The nails already bring plenty of colour and movement, so a few plain pieces are enough to pull the look together. This is definitely the set for someone who enjoys a longer, bolder manicure.
Blood-Red Coffin Nails with a Splatter Accent
Glossy blood-red polish gives these long coffin nails a striking finish. One white nail breaks up the colour, with scattered red splashes creating a simple horror-inspired accent. The tapered sides and flat tips leave plenty of space for the splatter pattern to show.
I’d pair this manicure with a black dress, a white blouse or a velvet outfit. A matching red lip would be a lovely finishing touch. It’s an easy choice for a vampire-inspired look, but the manicure has enough presence to make a plain party outfit feel ready for Halloween.
